Charges or fees of doctor never follow an inflation rate rise…
Let me compare my own charges along with some parameters…..

This chart above shows in a clear way that rise in income of all general people on an average is by more than ten times…and doctors charges are less than five percent.
So to conclude…Doctors in Rural area are charging Minimum…
Why Doctors Should charge Less?
Note the Points…
1. Doctors have to invest all the time in his Life in his setup so as keep it updated.
2. Maintenances are expensive now.
3. Charges of Waste disposal are another Burdon.
4. Doctors pay commercial charges for light bills.
5. Doctors pay commercial charges for House tax & Water Tax.
6. Doctors are paying same amount of Income Tax as other profession.
7. Another Burdon is of Inverter and generator now days…

There may many more persons who shifts from city to Rural area but…the reason is always they had no option…
But in case of Doctor…they invariably choose a village or small town…in spite of other all open options…
Some of them may come by an accident…but then decides to settle in rural area…
Move towards rural India

All common & social people gives stress on the subject of –
“ Doctors are Not willing to go to
Rural area for medical practice”
But No person ever come forward to know problems of well qualified doctors in rural area.
As I am one who decided & now settled in Rural area have suffered a lot.
What are the Problems of Doctors practicing in Rural area?
- For Doctor born & brought up in big city, it takes tremendous efforts & time to get adjusted to rural setup.
- For doctors born & brought up in big city, he/she gets detached from amenities of city life. May be frustrating for some time.
- For few days it becomes very difficult him/her to adjust or to manage local Politics.
- He has to choose a same norm of Living standard of living as that of rural area.
- He becomes only a spectator to developing modern word.
- His kids do not get standard education as he/she got in city.
- Patient pays less to doctors not because they do not afford but are not willing to loose money on medical expenses. It is frustrating to doctor trying to upgrade his setup up to mark & same as in big city.
- In spite of minimum charges, patient’s relative always complains as “ he tar lutatat” meaning Doctors are like theft
- Village is now no more Pollution free. And all untoward effects of city area are same in Rural area…adding frustration to doctors..
